On an early episode of "Sister Sister" ray is dating a woman who appears in a later episode as Lisa's sister.

On the episode where Tia goes out with a college guy she says that she is the oldest but on the episode when they go to a cabin Tamera says she is the oldest.

Tia and Tamera's real life brother appeared on several episodes but was never the same character.

When Roger is telling the twins' boyfriends about their most emmbarrassing moments he says that when Tia tried to give herself a perm and he pulled off her hat she ran into the boys bathroom with emmbarrassment and all the boys ran out but that never actually happened.

The cat that Lisa found (named Little Ray) is no longer seen or mentioned during later episodes.

On one episode actress Gabrielle Union plays a shoplifter named Vanessa and in a later episode her name is Shawn.

On one episode Tamera is dating a guy and he breaks up with her so she enters a talent contest to win him back and on the episode with Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen she is dating him again.

On an early episode Tia is dating the Pizza boy and in a later episode Tamera dates him when she's voted as class beauty.

On an early episode Tia double dates with Tamera and goes out with a guy best known for his quote "chicken butt" and in later episodes the twins act like they hate him and would never date him.

On an early episode the twins enemy Rhonda is freinds with a then unknown Diavian who later becomes their best friend.

On one episode rapper/actor Kid from the group Kid N Play stars as a famous rapper named Chilly T but on later episodes he is Tia's boss named Clark

Don't forget about the fact that they seemed to have a revolving door of friends. The only consistent friend that they had was Roger.

First, they started off the series with friends by the name of Sarah ( Brittany Murphy), Roger (Marques Houston), Denise ( Anna Slotsky), Jaime, Steve (Steve Monroe), Ernie (Arvie Lowe, Jr) and a few other friends (I don't remember their names)

Then, a few episodes later, they made it seem as if Tia and Tamera had just met Denise, when in earlier episodes, they were already friends.

By about the third/fourth season, the friend line up included Roger, Vanessa/Shawn (Gabrielle Union), Dot (Senta Moses), Steven (Diavian's boyfriend whom we never see after the graduation), etc

Rhonda Coley's parents are featured in one episode, where there is a film-making contest at their school. They look like a fairly normal couple. BUT in the episode, You Are So Beautiful, where the twins wonder about their biological mother, Rhonda turns into a man, and Tia and Tamera talk about how ugly her parents looked. No mention of Rhonda was ever made after that.

I can comment on the cat thing [Little Ray]. In one of the episodes he ended up in Ray's car on his way to work, then he jumped out. I think that was why he wasn't mentioned anymore.

And as for certain actors/actresses playing different characters, it used to happen a lot with this era of shows. I'm drawing a blank on the shows but I know I've seen the "recycled actor" thing a lot.

the fact that tia and tamara were 13 when they first met but six years later by the time they finish high scoool they were only 17. also in the episode when they celebrate their 13th birthday, tia shows a picture of of their 14th birthday when they went to the hotel with sarah and their parents but tia claims it was their 16th birthday.

actually the owners got him, and the hubsand didn't want him but the wife did, and so that ended LIL RAY.

He shows up later in that same episode - the cat found it's way back to the house. I guess we are to figure the cat got away again or maybe just got old and died.

Well you can go by real life if you read their bios on imdb - Tamera is older by two minutes.

Actually Tahj was their cousin both times.

Actually the perm episode where Tia runs into the boy's bathroom did happen - it was in the season where they are like 14 or 15. It's the same episode where Tamera got a professionally done perm and became very popular in school.

Well the "chicken" butt guy was incredibly rude to them, so I'd understand if they acted like they hated him later - I sure the hell would.

I'm not sure about the rest but I'm about half sure the last one is incorrect too.

Tahj also played a tutor to them, and in return the twins took him to Buck E' Duck or something to that effect, I don't think he was their cousin in that episode.

Early in the series it is said that they were born in the local hospital. However later it is said that they are born in Florida.

All their medical records were at that hospital - doesn't mean they were born there.

One thing that I noticed, is the girls' bedroom. I don't understand how there was two rooms out of just one room? Was the room remodeled? I never understood this.

I don't know if it's a mistake but when i watched the first episode again recently (it's on youtube) there was a part missing i distinctly remmeber being much longer. It's when Roger comes to the door and Tia hides behind it as Tamera answers it. That scene was there but it was cut much shorter. It's on youtube if anyone wants to watch it and see what i mean

to the poster: wow, thats awesome you know that many goofs, i've never
really realized half of them. (even some of the others listed on here).
that's crazy, though. and to the person above me: did u realize how long
the episode was on youtube? maybe there's a second part of it.

That episode where Tia says she's 2 minutes older Tamera isn't a goof. She was lying to the guy to impress him. She also told him she was 19 when she was really 16.

Actually Tahj played their cousin once: Cousin Tahj in the episode where Tia and Tamera get a job at Ray's Limo company.

The second time Tahj appears is in the Christmas episode where he's just some random kid waiting to see Santa.

The last time he appeared he was TJ Henderson (crossover from his series "Smart Guy") and he tutored Tia and Tamera for the SAT's.

Yeah, the show wasn't always consistent and of course they had like the same actors and actresses playing different roles. Like in the later seasons, Diavian and her boyfriend are going to the college where Tia and Tamera are going but they never mention him again.

Also, the show kind of jumped the shark when the twins found their father (an episode I only saw like once) and when Lisa and Victor decided to get married. I don't know why but before the Victor-Lisa thing, Lisa and Ray were given rather silly subplots.

oh and im just watching an episode now from the first season
on tv and its showing how tamera found her dads keys in the ignition
of the car in the garage and she like puts it in reverse and ends up
hitting the trash can. anyways, so was she really doing this with the
garage doors DOWN?! omg thats sooo bad. they could get afixiated (sorry,
i have no idea how to spell it but really, come on now!)

Oh yeah, and i was just watching another episode and it's when Tia really
likes that guy michael and she gets a tatoo with him. and then lisa says
she has to remove it somehow. so i guess we are supposed to believe that's
what happened i guess cus they never showed it gone after or talked about it.

I can't believe no one has noticed that in the begining ( season 1 ) that both Tia and Tamara used to talk to the t.v and tell us what they were planing to do in the episode. Anyways now that theyre older they don't do that anymore. I always wonderd that. I loved it when they conneted with the addience.

I also agree with the "Recycled actors/actress" thing. I seen them recycle actors and actress on other shows, but not as much as Sister, Sister.

I've always wondered what happend to Lil' Ray the last time I saw him was when Ray lost him and then later on in the show he came back. Maybe in real life he probably passed away but the writers didn't want to write that part in.

I just thought of something I'm not sure if this qualifies as a mistake or goof or not.

It's the episode where Ray is still in love with his wife and later on his wife appears as a ghost and talks to Lisa. In the show I caught on to when Ray wife was telling Lisa that Tamera needs a mother and that Lisa is perfect for Ray. That may have been so at the moment but in the season finale Lisa and Ray sure doesn't get together.

boho delight, they did in some ep. when they got older. Like after summer Roger transferred into some hunk, they were talking. And when Tamera was talking about giving Roger a big kiss, it was literally a kiss. And when Tia had that slam book.

I remember the part about one of them straightening her hair and it didn't come out right...unless that happened after the episode you're talking about when Roger stated that.
