we need a Nickelodeon Old School Channel

Nickelodeon has already Made Nick GAS (Games and sports) and Nicktoons Network where they show old nicktoons and old Nick Game shows. We need an Old School Nick Station that shows The Classics such as Clarissa Explains It All, The Adventures Of Pete and Pete, Secret World of Alex Mack, The Original All That, Kenan & Kel, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, You Can't Do That on Television, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and other Nick Classics. Who's with me?

reply

I am! I grew up with those shows. Nick has really gone to hell in the past 5 years.

reply

do you (or anyone else) remember what the sci-fi one was called, it was star treck-ish, and the had a female robot, and it was live action.
thanx!

reply

Hell yeah, I remember those cartoons. My favorite was the old-school Rugrats and the Old School Doug. I also liked Rocko's modern life.

reply

I think the show that you are referring to is Space Cases. Here is a link for info on the show:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Cases.

Here, here! If they have Nick at Night and TV Land, why couldn't they have an old school nick channel?

reply

As the poster before said, they have made an effort on the N since 2003 to get those old nick shows on but not nearly enough...Pete and Pete along with Alex Mack made brief appearances in 2003, Alex Mack from about January to June and Pete and Pete the second half of the year but they were then taken off...still think another network would be better.

reply

I wish they had one too.....but Nick is DUMB and all they wanna show is Spongebob Old Parents and Jimmy Neutron Im SOOOOOO sick of this *beep*
Come on all ready and give what everyone wants!

reply

All That reruns actually come back on December 31, 2007.

reply

Never mind. "All That" should have been on the N. But it seems like something happened and it isn't on the schedule. I dont know why though. It should be on instead of trash like "Zoey 101" and "the Naked Brothers Band".

reply

I agree with you there. I remember all those Nick shows you just mentioned especially Clarissa and Pete & Pete. I just loved All That. I don't know if anyone remember this show that was on Nickeloden, but it was Space Cases (somewhat like Star Track, but with younger people). I remember watching My brother and me and Taina (that show aired in 2001-2002) I think it only had 2 seasons.

reply

I would watch that, but how would they advertise it? I want it, and I'll watch it, so I can show my Disney Channel-addicted sister what she would have watched if she were her age around the time she was actually born.

reply

Yea!!
what about animorphs?? with shawn ashmore?
all those shows would be awesome to watch on tv, they're so much more exciting than the cheesy, music-loving, materialistic stuff thats on now. I mean, there are some good shows, but theyre all about the laughs, and selling the merchandise. If kids watched stuff like alex mack, they'd see action- like when the plant blows up, love- family, sisters, friends, comedy- like the driving episode, and drama- school, friends, life, etc.
it's just a well-balanced show that a lot of kids should grow up with like we did

reply

Me and my girlfriend have been saying this for years, if they won't do DVDs, then do a Nick Old School Channel, cause obviously and apparently there is want and demand for it.

reply

yeah I want a classic Nick channel that shows Hey Dude are you afraid of the dark, you can't do that on television and any other shows that I forgot about over the last 20 years

reply

I agree on that. It's funny that you mentioned Hey Dude because that onw popped in my head as well as Salute your Shorts.

reply

Even doing a website like The WB has just done would be nice. Sure, we'd have to wait for the shows to load, but we could watch whatever show we wanted at whatever time and they wouldn't be all choppy like the pirated DVDs or YouTube videos.

Classic Nickelodeon would be real good. Because I'm 21 years olds now when I was six years old I use to watch Rugrats, Doug, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers, Clarissa Explains It All, Pete & Pete, Hey Dude, Weinerville, Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid Of The Dark?, Alex Mack, and Space Cases. I use on weekends stay up late at night to watch Nick At Nite with all the back and white shows that use to come out in the 50's like I Love Lucy, The Dick Van Dyke Show and Alfred Hitchcock Show those were the good old days!
