Disney Vs. Nickelodeon TV Channel

There is something I noticed between the two networks. Disney may have some lousy new shows like Hannah Montana, Zac & Cody, Corey In The House, and etc, but at least they play old cartoon from in the 90's and play Disney movies like Alladin, Cinderella, and etc. Disney even have Toon Disney and there you can you watch old re-runs like Static Shock, Goof Troop, Mickey Mouse, Timon & Pumba, Lilo & Stitch, they just never let me down.

Nickeolodeon on the other hand just pisses me off. Excuse my language but they do they could at least give us the best of both world have new shows but in the afternoon play like old shows for us older Nick fans. With Nick it seem like they want us old fans 21 years and older to forget about the classic shows like Alex Mack, Kenan & Kel, All That, Space Cases, but you can't forget classic shows like that.

Last I heard, Toon Disney got axed. It's now Disney XD, and they don't even show the good ol' cartoons like Darkwing Duck anymore.

Basically, both Nick and Disney were so much better in the 90s. Now, they both suck. They don't bother with what was "good" and only care about what's "hip".

Wow you right I guess I'm still thinking it is Toon Disney. Well damn I guess that will explain why I haven't seen Timon & Pumbaa in a bit and Goof Troop. I tell you they are just getting rid of our 90's childhood stuff like it never existed. What about when these new shows get all old and the kids grow up? What will Nick and Disney do then?

reply

Most of it has to do with them not caring for the older generation. Realistically, both networks cater to the kids, so they could care less about us wanting them to air they're older shows again, even putting them all on TeenNick. However, I do have to agree that both networks were better in the 90's, especially Nickelodeon. The days when they didn't air the same two shows (Spongebob and iCarly) on a 90% basis. Good times.
