In my understanding, Alex was supposed to be one of those girls who get along better with boys then with girls.

And I dont know about back then, but today they would have no qualms of doing such a relationship. Especially because Ray was the best looking dude on the show.

Ray was sexy to me. I had a crush on him. I wanted Ray and Alex to hook up or Robyn and Ray to hook up. I truly like Alex look on the show she wasn't into make up and wore loose clothing but later in the show she kind of ditched the hats once she got a boyfriend.
