Rhett's Mom

Could not stand the portrayal of Rhett's mom in this.
In the novel, she is older, but still quite active. This one seemed much older and tired.
Also, she was very kind to Scarlett and one of her defenders. No way would one in the novel had believed hear say gossip and told her she was no longer welcome.
Eleanor Butler is one of my favorites in the novel. She is very respected and a true lady. But she also isn't afraid to hurt her reputation, to stand by those she loves (and this came to include Scarlett).
She had done what her husband wanted, in regards to putting Rhett out years before. But now that he is dead, she just wants to be with her loved ones and they all be happy, no matter how it looks to others.
