Does it get any better?

I've been trying to watch the pilot for the past few nights and think I will probably make it through it tonight, but my God is it hard to take. Does this show get any better? Or is it all this lame?

Well, the 2nd episode was much better. Typical tv evangelist plot, but affective. Wonder why the pilot sucked so much? Supposed to be based on the Corporate Wars script (very loosely, I assume). Would like to read that, if I could find it!

Well, the 2nd episode was much better.

In my experience, the first pilot episode of a show is usually the worst of the bunch. They are usually rather lifeless, just setting up things to come. And then by the 2nd, the cast seem to have warmed up to each other, and they're starting to have fun with the stories and stuff. It makes a big difference.
