RoboCop movies sucked! This rocked!

I'm not being sarcastic, guys.

I thought this was an awesome show, prematurely canceled.

This was actually my first exposure to the RoboCop franchise - and also the best part. The films were way too violent, and basically had no point. This TV series had a lot of heart, much less violent and it still got a point across.

The satire wasn't dark, but playful and very comical - loved the Captain Cash stuff, and that whole background with the war in Central America.

This show, along with Space: Above and Beyond, defined my middle-school days. I look back to it fondly.

What are your opinions, and why?

Are you kidding? The movies were much better than this series. the series was too light toned, Robocop barely uses his gun. Some of the episodes were just plain weird, and barely seemed like Robocop (the magician hitman for example).

While it did a good job of putting the emotional turama Robocop was going through, like his children and "ex"-wife needed help from the police and Robo is right there. Then there's the episode where his father finds out his son is still alive, which I really wanted to see expanded.

I an't afraid of no ghosts!

congratulations on liking cheesy low quality dumbed down badly written garbage that almost made Robocop 3 look good.

I like this series more than RoboCop 2, but as for the first RoboCop that is classic. RoboCop 3, although still okay, is the low point in the series. RoboCop Prime Directives relies a bit too much on CGI to be the gritty Old Detroit/Delta City we know in the movies and series.

I understand you dear. This is my favorite TV show of the 90's. I wish they made more seasons & episodes.

Anyway, I love all 3 RoboCop films but I dislike the remake of 2014
