Ok, How much money does Gavin Blair actually need?

I remember watching one of the cons where Gavin stated that the money from Rainmaker went away.

So I have to ask, If the amount of fan dedication to the series a few years back, prompted Rainmaker to make the lame web comic and we still have not left Rainmaker alone.

Then couldn't all the fans band together? Find out how much Gavin Blair needs to make the final end of the story and just give it to him? PLEASE.

There is also hope where Megabyte is concerned. There is a guy on Youtube that can sound like Tony Jay.

If Gavin Blair went to Rainmaker and said, "I have the money!" Rainmaker would welcome him with open arms.

So as far as I am concerned what is stopping this from happening?

I'm the biggest Reboot fan there is but it's been 13 years since it went off the air. Even if it did come back, it wouldn't be the same because they wouldn't just make a new season where the last season left off. That kind of thing is wishful thinking from hardcore fans but realistically it wouldn't be worth putting so many resources into from a business standpoint.

Yes it sucks but sometimes you just have to face facts and let go.

What I wish Blair would do is for him to reveal in a convention or somethng how it was supposed to end. He really wanted to do it in 2007, but decided to keep his mouth shut once the "ReBoot Revival" was announced.

Blair tellng the fans how it ends wouldn' be spoiling anything for the new series, which will be a reboot of...ReBoot. The fans deserve it.

I thought he already did. There was a group if fans who did a reboot roadtrip blog where they went and met with Gavin Blair who told them. From what I can remember it would have ended with everything back to normal with Megabyte back in the Tor presumably after being cured by Bob and no longer viral but that wasn't specified.

Gavin claimed that since he told them, that they wouldn't be able to use it as an ending if the show ever came back. I distinctly remember fan discussion about it and many fans didn't like the idea of everything going back to as if seasons 3 and 4 never happened.

to be honest it sounds like a pretty on the spot made up idea. He already did the exact same thing with hexidecimal. Restarted the system and shes no longer viral. It would have been uncharacteristically lame of reboot to have the exact same ending twice.

I understand that they are "ReBoot"ing and that in the end, saving everything comes down the name of the show, but it just doesnt feel memorable when its the go to problem solver. Especially since there has never been anything but positive results even though all the characters constantly cry doom before they do it.

I guess thats something they could do, have a reboot happen but this time have actual consequences, instead of hidden bonuses like resurrecting the dead/past.
