Rip-off of 'Punky Brewster' episodes

Every episode was literally a carbon copy of an old "Punky Brewster" one.

The one I remember most vividly is when two of the younger kids cheat on a test and the oldest sibling pretends not to know, but gives them more work because they're "obviously not challenged" (or something like that)

Having said that, though, it was a cute show, but I think 1993 wasn't a great time for it to come out. Maybe if it came out in our poor economy ravaged America today, it probably would do a bit better.

And do you know why this was? David Duclon also created Punky Brewster! No wonder this show didn't last.

Also, this show is the same set-up (an older sibling having to disguise himself so that he can provide for his younger sibling) as the short lived 1965 series Hank, which was also produced by Warner Brothers Television.
