Steve Urkel?!!

Was there an episode where Steve Urkel from "Family Matters" made a guest appearence?

There were a few episodes where he did a voice-over. "On Our Own will be back right after these messages...." But he was never a guest on the show that I can remember. I will check that out for you though, because I do remember him being a guest on an ABC sitcom. I just can't remember if it was THIS show.

I think he was a guest on Step by Step. Not sure though.

I've always wanted to say this..........for shizzle!

He did voiceovers for the original ABC bumpers. But I'm surprised he didn't make a guest appearance to help with ratings.

I don't remember this episode very well, but I do remember an episode where the children discover that the oldest brother wasn't the biological son of the younger children's father. I thought the show was sweet and nicely written, but throwing the heretofore unknown "half-sibling" monkey wrench into the storyline was tacky and unnecessary to the show's premise. As I recall, the oldest brother was a couple of months shy of his 21st birthday, and unless they were successful in staving off the nosy social worker, in the time it took for "Josh" to become of legal age to be designated legal guardian to the kids, they would have all ended up in separate foster homes, with little chance of being reunited once he did turn 21. Interestingly enough, there was a similar show on FOX called "Party of Five", where a family of orphaned White children were left in the care of THEIR older brother; I don't recall any script machinations that called into question the legality of whether the older brother should be allowed to keep and raise his younger sibling together. Something to think about.
