I dont think they are ashamed of this show, I heard that Aisling Sistrunk whom played Melanie is stuck up but I dont know her personally so who knows. In an interview with the actor who played Dee Dee, he seemed devastated to learn over Christmas break the show would be cancelled due to creative differences between the show creators and producers.
