I can read in Internet the rumor of that in the fall start new episodes with a new owner of Rex.
Is there someone that knows something?

Umm... if you count Rex's first owner (who we hardly meet since he dies in episode 1x01), then fourth would be Mark Hoffmann... funny guy, not such a good cop and who doesn't pay as much attention to Rex when he (Rex) tries to give him clues on the case at hand... if you're talking AFTER Mark, sorry, can't help ya!

And then he moves to Rome and is owned by Lorenzo Fabbri. Fabbri is killed early in series 4, or 12 since they still call it Inspector Rex, and is replaced by Davide Rivera.
