Taking inspiration from real life?

I have found that many of the best moments in KMKYWAP are based on real life incidents. Alan going off on the Avant Grade fashion designer is a clear reference to Vivenne Westwood on Wogan (Sue Lawley was presenting as Terry was on holiday) only to find the audience laughing at the designs. The failed ventriloquist act is based on Duggie Small who having won the New Faces talent show appeared on Wogan (This time Terry was presenting his show) only to die on his feet ruining his future career. I have just seen a clip of Noel Edmonds lambasting a newspaper critic on Noel's House Party not unlike Alan with another critic. Anyone can think of another instances?
