Is Heaven and Hell worth viewing

Hi all, I was wondering if Heaven and Hell is worth getting, the only way of buying it is to get the whole box set, I already have book 1.Is H and H really that bad. I was in the States when it was first released but never got to see it.
The book was enjoyable but then again Bent in the books is a completely different kettle of fish.

You can watch it if you want and form your own opinion. I mean, I see nothing wrong with the movie, Waterworld.

But in my book, this miniseries is worse than Godfather III

I'm Rick James, bitch!!!!

NO!! Don't get it!!

Absolutely it's not worth seeing.

Book 3 is certainly not worth paying money for. We got the boxed set and love Books 1 & 2. We watched Book 3 one time when we got the set and were quite disappointed in it. The boxed set would be worth getting if you need book 2 since the complete set was on sale for only about $52. at Walmart when we got it

I decided to watch it anyway. It didn't live up to the standards of Books 1 and 2, but it was allright. I'd watch it.

I can only bear it with the remote control in my hand. I ffwd through a MAJORITY of the thing. There were only a few scenes I actually watched.

Although it's not the Charles from the book, I sort of like Willa and Charles together so I watch their scenes.

I love Peter O'Toole so I watch his scenes, even though they gave him almost NOTHING to do.

I think Fen is hilarious and enjoy watching his scenes with Ashton (even though I totally loathe garber's portrayal of Ashton. She just GRATES on me).

I enjoy watching James Read's scenes, even though I think the writing was done poorly. Everything was rushed and there was no craftsmanship in the story telling. I guess I just like watching him -- even though I never forgave John Jakes for killing off Constance. G&C were my fave couple and I loved all their scenes together. And while I do like Lesley Anne Down as an actress (enjoyed her in Upstairs, Downstairs), I just didn't like Madeline as a character, and especially Madeline of book II mini series, and disliked her even more in the book III mini series. (So yes, I do FF through most of Madeline's scenes, lol.)

In all honesty that is really about all I can watch.

In fairness, I must admit that I ffwd through some parts of Book I and Book II, also.
