Jenny Jones is the reason I hate Talk Shows.

She and Jerry Springer, but at least Jerry does not pretent to be wholesome. I'm so glad they cancelled it in 2003. The show should have been cancelled 1995, after the murder of a former guest, and the guilty one, she and her crew hummilated.

It's not the show's fault the dude went berserk and killed his neighbor.

If you're so embarrassed that a gay man has a crush on you that you kill him, you've got some serious ****ing issues.

That's got nothing to do with anybody on the show.

Granted, I hated the show anyways, it was absolute garbage, and the only reason I found my way here was because I was looking up the cast and credits for Wonder Showzen, but you're still guilty of faulty logic.

they told the guy that he was going on an episode called "secret admirers" when it was really only same-sex crushes. the two were best friends and three days after the show he went out, bought a shot gun and killed him.
and the show is supposed to screen their guests before they have them on. if they had done that they would have seen he had a history of mental illness and drug abuse.

With or without the entire controversy, the show would still die. The market changes and the overall concept would do nothing but delay the inevitable.

I think Jones was used as a scapegoat, so they the media didn't have to focus on the real villain, homophobia. Jones simply lived in a world where being gay was no big deal, she wasn't exploiting homophobia, she just operated under the assumption that it was time for people to get over it. The criticisms about her having Scott share a hotel room with his female friend for instance. Homophobes thought that was outrageous, while Jenny said Scott was gay, so what was the big deal about him sharing a room with a female friend?
