Hawkeye the entire series

I also would like to encourge the placement of the series on DVD

If anyone can find out the writer of the stories and how to find out if the company who broadcasted the show would be willing to put on DVD am quite sure that there would be a market place.

Yep, I would be interested as well. I remember watching this series in the afternoon (with a cup of tea in hand) when I should have been attending lectures.

Ahhh.. happy days.

It was a Stephen J Cannell production, I emailed his website and they responded that they had no current interest to put this series on DVD

Too bad, I thought this was a decent show. Small budget, so the combat scenes were fairly basic, but it was an overall good program. It was in syndication in the US, so not that many people ever watched it. It was one of those series that would be scheduled for the middle of the afternoon on Saturdays, but then again so was Star Trek:NG and a bunch of other shows. You don't see much original programming scheduled on independent channels at that time of the day anymore, but pre-500 channels, Tivo and even the internet, a good batch of second-tier TV programming on a cold wintry Saturday afternoon was pretty nice.

Maybe if enough people hassle them they will consider it? I'm going to email them now.

I emailed the Stephen J. Cannell company a couple of years ago and received a reply at that time that said Hawkeye wasn't available, but that it was something they were interested in doing in the future. I think it would be good to send emails showing interest--it appears that several of the Cannell Company's shows have been recently made into DVDs, so maybe if there is enough interest they will put Hawkeye on the list.

Mr. Cannell's email address on his website is [email protected].
