Seriously - did anyone else notice? I used to refer to the show as "Star Trek reunion hour"!

Xanatos = Jonathan Frakes = William Riker (TNG)
Demona = Mirina Sirtis = Deanna Troi (TNG)
Puck = Brent Spiner = Data (TNG)
Coldstone = Michael Dorn = Worf (TNG, etc. all)
Titania = Kate Mulgrew = Kathryn Janeway (Pre-Voyager. The show hadn't started yet.)
Diane Maza (Elisa's mom) = Nichelle Nichols = Uhura (Original series! Way to represent!)

I remember every time I'd hear a new ST voice, I'd just throw up my hands and say, "There they go again!" But I loved it!

Yeah! Now I wish they could have added Shatner and Nimoy for me, that would have been awsome.

I always enjoyed that too. Recognizing people by voice is something I do for fun, so it was kind of a treat. I always wanted know if the Star Trek cameos were planned, or if it just developed into a running joke.

Other than that, I don't remember Stewart, and I was looking for him with all the others being there. I always thought he would have made a great Oberon. Just to add to that list: (Forgive my mis-spellings and memory, please)

Anasi (Spider critter) = Levar Burton = Gordi

The Easter Island Alien = Avery Brooks = The captian, or whatever he was, on DS9

The father of the Ulster kid = Colemn Meeny = I can't remember the character name, but the STNG/DS9 Scotty.

Dorn also provided the voice for the Minotaur that helped them out of New Olympus.

I don't remember any others, but I could have forgotten somebody. Gargoyles had a lot of well known people providing voice work for it.

One can also argue David Warner as well. He was the voice of the Archmage. He played 3 different characters in the Trek universe, Appearing in TNG, and 2 of the Original cast movies.

i never watched TNG at the time, so later when I heard Frankes i always thought "that's xanatos!" I do the same thing with Keith David.

I think the main reason I got into the show was when I heard Sirtis and Frakes' voices cause I loved TNG. That hooked me and then I started liking the show for the complex storyline. ANyone know why so many Trek actors were on the show?
