Ross and Rachel for real?

I guess I just feel like they already broke up 17 times too many. Like, at that point, crap or get off the pot. It's not like they'd previously been against unbeatable odds that are now gone. Maybe they've grown, but still, how many times do you need to break up over petty shit before realizing they're not the right one?

The problem is that the show went on for too long. In real life, no, they would not stay together, but I think we have to believe they both grew up.

reply

Or they are the right one?

reply

Such a cop out to put them together in the last episode. They always break up again. Dark, but I would have ended the show with Ross marrying his real dream girl and Rachel ending up miserable.

reply

Ross and Rachel would never hook up even once in real life.
Never mind ACTually dating and marriage?

lol, agree the ending was a cop out in all regards

reply

Why do you think that?

reply

her friend's nerdy ass brother? nope. there is no sexual attraction there

reply

You´d be surprised how many girls like the nerdy brother though. lol

reply

Wow, judgemental much?
Since when is being intelligent and passionate about their profession a bad thing?

reply

Joey is passionate about his profession.. but he's not a dork. Ross IS the dork of the group - and that's saying a lot since Chandler isn't at the top of his game either.

ALSO I don't dislike Ross but I think it is far fetched he ends up with the "hot" girl.

hehe

reply

Ross had more hot women than Chandler though. I would say, Chandler had the least amount of success with women. Chandler married up too. Cox and Aniston were way better looking than their on-screen partners.

reply

that's true. however Ross had the damaged-goods reputation with the failed marriages.. maybe it's a draw?

but hey, if it happened in real life- him and Aniston- then that's just swell for the guy :)

reply

Chandler married up
See every male sitcom character ever.

reply

Yeah, I don't see their marriage lasting long.
