Ive decided this is probably my favourite friendship in the show, as ross shows repeated kindness to Phoebe I believe more than the others.

Examples of this-

Trying to help her out with Mike over the whole serious relationship thingy and making up Vikram (although it was stupid and backfired horribly ahaha)!! I like this because he did it because she was sooo upset and he wanted to cheer her up and stop mike being put off

Getting the bike for her after she never had a first bike. What I love about this is the one he gets her is identical to the one she describes her neighbour having when she was little, basket, plastic daisies, rainbow coloured tassels.

Desperately trying to find out why she was so upset with him in episode where she's mad after having a dream where he called her boring. I like the way he relentlessly pursues her determined to get to the bottom off it and redeem himself.

I compare this to the episode where Monica finds out phoebe cut her out years ago and says to Chandler "we're not friends with Phoebe anymore" and he responds with "if she asks I protested but...ok!!!" Almost cheerfully as if he's been waiting for this or something. I always wonder from that episode just how much chandler and phoebe actually did like each other.

Your thoughts??? Or offerings of other favourite pairings and reasonings behind?? (Please refrain from all the I love Ross and Rachel's they're soooo in love!!! There are manynof these already and I'm not 100 percent on whether this is true anyway)

Agreed to this. Phoebe's relationship with Ross is slightly better than Chandler -post-pregnancy, but that doesn't say much.

Overall, I never thought Phoebe was close with Ross or Chandler.

I always really liked when Ross and Rachel interacted, but they just didn't interact as much as Ross/anyone else or Phoebe/Joey or the girls.

Phoebe and Chandler had some fun moments in the early years. Silly fun stuff, like discussing why Donald Duck wears a towel when he has showered, but then wears no clothes once dry. Also that weird discussion about how Spider-Man is not a last name like Goldman and then talking about what powers a Gold-Man would have.

There was also the Endless Love duet when Bing got dumped by Janice.

There's also them breaking up together on Valentine's Day.

And the story-line where Phoebe works in Chandler's office.

Also cute where she hugs him after making him cry.

And the playful teasing when she apologizes for bringing up his weight, then hugs him and says she can't make her hands meet. lol

Chandler and Phoebe were cute early on. Sad that got lost later in light of Phoebe's bitch-transformation.
