Matthew Perry is really bad in the scene. It's incredibly cringe worthy.

As much as Chandler is my favourite character, Perry was never very adept at convincingly portraying genuine emotions or dialogue. It all rang a little false.

For me, one of the most poignant and beautifully acted pieces came from Perry when he was trying to convince Erica to give them the baby.
My main problem with Perry doing emotional scenes was that he always seemed to adopt an odd baby voice when he was talking.
Schwimmer and Aniston were the better actors in that regard.

shareI liked the idea of it. It was really sweet and I liked the surprise element. However, when they start talking that's when it gets bad. Unfortunately Matthew Perry couldn't deliver. His acting was really forced.
