I want your theories on what Chandler meant when he said... the thing we hardly ever do or the thing we never do?
One of them is anal, right? But which? And what's the other thing?
More often than not, anal is the thing they never do. Because Chandler was impressed with Shovely Joe, whereas Monica's reaction and demeanor shows it's something she's not down for -the way she states "The thing we NEVER do." And that's how it goes in many cases, guys love to give anal, but many women get nothing from it.
And the thing they hardly do could be oral. Some couples don't do that too often.
Both have to be something you can't get pregnant from and that would be a nono at least for Monica. So my guess is having sex while she's on her period and anal sex. Maybe BJs as third option, but even for Erica it would be incredibly naive to believe that you can get pregnant from that, plus I don't think Monica's would be against that.

They were married at that point so they were definitely referring to blow jobs and anal. Who uses shorthand for period sex? Thats weird as hell unless its something you actually do which at that point it disqualifies it as being what they were referring to.
