FAVOURITE ER. CHARACTER ?

which are your favourite characters from the full 15 year run of ER ? i know this subject has been covered on other posts here on IMDB, but i'd just like to clarify, the most common top favourite. for me it has to be Dr. Mark Greene (the excellent Anthony Edwards) He was just cool, clever, dedicated and some of the episodes he was in over the first eight years were outstanding. the show definitely lost some of it's appeal for me when he left / died off.

i also like Carol Hathaway (the simply gorgeous Julianna Margulies …i am now a big fan of The Good Wife)

what are your thoughts?

Mark Greene was the reason I got hooked on the show. It was the episode where he was delivering a baby in the ER and the mother had pre-eclampsia and died. Then the chief OBGYN came in and reprimanded him severely. Wow that was an intense episode and from that point on set ER apart as a stellar tv dramatic series. After that Greene was always my favorite but his storyline lost luster when his bratty daughter came into it.

Oh my gosh, that episode made such a huge impression on me. I loved that they allowed him to be traumatised by it. It really changed the trajectory of his character permanently.

I've only seen a few seasons. Susan Lewis is my favorite.

ANTHONY EDWARDS...DR.MARK GREENE...EASY ANSWER...QUITE FRANKLY AFTER HE LEFT THE SHOW I HUNG IN THERE FOR A FEW MORE SEASON BUT ENDED UP DROPPING OFF...I INTEND TO CATCH UP ONE DAY...HOWEVER THE DR.GREENE YEARS ARE PART OF MY MEMORIES FOREVER.
