My housemate and I are having an arguement. For some reason he things that Fraser was blind. Can you please tell him he's wrong?

Fraser did lose his sight in the first episode of the second season, in an episode called "North".
Perhaps that is what your housemate is thinking about.

It seems to me that, aside from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.
