Bring it BACK

Adult swim needs to put this show on the air. How sweet would that be to be flipping through your guide and see "Duckman" pop up there. How quickly would you hit the record button?

I think what happened is that comedy central (Viacom) bought this show out and that's why you don't see it on Netflix or Adult Swim. And they're never going to let cartoon network get this show because it could just potentially do too much damage to their ratings..

The thing about adult cartoons though is that they probably hold ratings better... It's not about the show finding it's audience... it's about the staying power, how many times is the average person going to watch an adult cartoon again vs a sitcom? whatever it is when it's relative like that the cartoon has more staying power....

There's a problem with that thinking though... it's like why not put this show on before or after futurama and show futurama say two times a day instead of three... well, futurama is a cartoon so it has that staying power where people will just watch it over and over and over again... but there's a way it could work... like you're not showing futurama four times a day... so would repeating duckman have better rating potential than the thing they were playing before futurama already??? there's a way it could work...

Weird Science was a great show, and the USA network used to play it before duckman and it did better on the ratings... but you would think twenty years later relative to WS whatever that level is Duckman would have more staying power in syndication... And it should... But comedy central is not using it's resources. it's kind of unfair play if they don't try to make it work at all, just keeping it away from Comedy Central, netflix and other sources...
