Suggestions for similar shows

Please suggest shows, animated or not, that have a similar sense of humor to Duckman and resemble the show in spirit.

Duckman's pretty unique IMO, but I'd say a DM fan would likely enjoy some Ren and Stimpy (a product of a similar era) or Drawn Together (a cartoon that definately pushes the boundaries of taste). Neither are close to DM in storyline, though.

Thank you for the suggestions. I've watched Ren and Stimpy before, but it was too incoherent, too random and had nothing really to say to be similar to Duckman, and I quickly lost interest. As for Drawn Together, I watched a couple of episodes and, whilst it's not bad, I dislike the "reality tv-series" setting and the show is over-all a bit too sleazy and cheap for my taste. I mean, Duckman was sleazy as well, but it never glorified it and all the sleaze was merely a side-order for an unusual level of intelligence and depth for an animated tv-series.

So if anyone has any other suggestions, I'd gladly hear them. Especially if they were at least somewhat in the level of intelligence and wry humor that Duckman was written with.

I think The Critic is along the same line as Duckman. Very witty, but not as raunchy.

Try "The Venture Bros." on The Cartoon Network. You can view it on YouTube, too.

I actually was also thinking Ren and Stimpy. I see some major similarities, though Ren and Stimpy is packaged as more of a slapstick kids cartoon, they both have very unique mature humor. No joke, Ren and Stimpy reminds me alot of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Anyone else see the resemblance?

Harvey Birdman is a similarly fast paced & clever animated show. Community has the meta humour that Duckman does.

There's not many quite like Duckman, you would probably do well to check out Rocko's Modern Life as it has the same "can be enjoyed by both kids and adults" quality to it.
