Brenda Maitland played by Margo Gunn is credited 10 times in the series but i do believe she has appeared in more episodes. I think she appears in the most of the episodes for the first two seasons but appears in the last episode of season 3 before coming back for season four.

I have recently bought the first two series of Dr Finlay and i can confirm Margo appears in all 6 episodes of Series one and all episodes apart from episode 5 of series two.
