Releasing the episodes in their proper order

Would be lovely to have ALL 27 episodes of this great series out on DVD, instead of a few here and there.

I am so annoyed. I just finished watching the 3rd set released. I won't say what happened so as not to spoil it for people who haven't see it, but I am seriously annoyed. Do you suppose they will put out more disks later?

I just purchased all 4 seasons with all (but one of) the episodes in order at Amazon.com although it was a little difficult at first to figure out which episodes were on which disks. It works as follows:

"Doctor Finlay" is Season 1
"Doctor Finlay -- Volume 2" is Season 2 (aka "Dr. Finlay: A Delicate Balance")
"Doctor Finlay -- Set 3" is Season 3 (aka "Dr. Finlay: No Time for Heroes")
"Doctor Finlay -- Days of Grace" is Season 4 but it is missing the final Episode "Snowblind" !

Anyone know where I can get that final episode "Snowblind"? I don't like the idea of watching the whole series and then never seeing the end!

I know, this is nutty. I have been watching them on Netflix...they have seasons 2, 3, & 4 but say season 1 is unavailable...what's the deal on THAT?

I bought snowblind from Amazon.co.uk but it wouldn't play on my dvd player in the U.S. I have since found out it's in a format for the U.K. which is a different format than for the U.S. Does anyone know how I can get a copy of snowblind to be played on a U.S. dvd player? I'm really bummed. I've tried ebay and pbs.

I have been annoyed by the sporatic release of the episodes too. I can't understand why they'd release only some of the episodes instead of all of them. The other thing I don't understand and maybe someone can clue me in, is why different formats for DVDs in different parts of the world? Why would a DVD machine in the UK be formatted differently than a DVD player in the USA? Does it have something to do with the electrical current? I don't get it. Kind of like I never understood beta and VHS and Blu-Ray and HD or gallons and liters. LOL.

I am another one who is frustrated because our local library where I checked out the Dr. Finlay series, does not have Snow Blind (also called Hogmanny). The end of Season 4 leaves everything hanging.

I know this is a very late reply, but I just started to rewatch Dr. Finlay and didn't realize that "Snowblind," existed. As to your question about the DVD player, you probably have already figured it out, but you can play your DVD on your PC. I did so once with a similar copy of a "Cold Feet," dvd and it allowed me to play it only once. Thanks.

This year, they finally released "Doctor Finlay Complete Collection" for Region 1 DVD players (those we use in the US.) This collection has the final episode "Snowblind".

I was lucky enough to pick this collection up new on eBay for $65 a couple of months ago. It has been great seeing the series from the beginning once more and finally seeing "Snowblind". This collection is a keeper, and I only wish there were more shows like this being made today!
