Christy's brother
In the novel, Christy had a brother, George. I wish they had casted him and he was in the Thanksgiving episodes with the parents. And maybe visited once or twice by himself.
I would also have liked to see him act brotherly reguarding Christy's relationships with Neil and David. Not unlike the way David acted towards his sister, Ida's beau, Clarence Sweetwater.

shareYes. George is Christy's younger brother. I wish they casted him, and he appeared in an episode or two. Like the Thanksgiving episide. And maybe one more.
shareAn interesting note: In the episode, The Sweetest Gift, Julia Huddleston, Christy's mother tells Miss Alice that Christy is her only child. Guess that's why it's "based on" the original Christy book by Catherine Marshall. They still could have cast George in a later season, had the series not been cancelled, however; as it was a minor point and there were other inconsistencies within the TV series itself, as well.
