Lynn, the widow, is such a slovenly, narcisstic, poisonous skank.

I think that there should be a law that such characters MUST be slapped, and hard.

Or she was a grief stricken, pregnant and mother of two young sons with no money and no immediate prospects whose husband deserted her by killing himself.

I so agree! She's lucky her children were not put in foster care, the way she neglected them and kept such a dirty house. I hated the way she treated Anna so badly one minute and fell sobbing into her arms the next minute. Anna should have done the slapping!
