Man, I wish had the opportunity to have met that guy. Buck just seemed so enthusiastic and he seemed like he was the type of person you could spend countless hours talking about the game with.

I visited the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in 2002 and didn't realize that he may have been there in an office at that time. Would have liked to say hello. But in his autobiography he claims his talent was not hall-of-fame level.
