No real mention of Hack Wilson in this doc?

What a shame. Would have liked them to mention him a lot more.

Yes, Babe Ruth was the greatest, but did he deserve a whole episode dedicated to him?

Absolutely.

He is mentioned, briefly. But yes, he gets very little coverage.

What more is there to mention about Hack Wilson? That his counting numbers are nowhere among the lifetime leaders but because he played in the inflated-offense era of the 1920s he posted what looks like an impressive peak, culminating with the 191 RBI in 1930? That his 1979 induction into the Hall of Fame by the Veterans Committee coincides with the period when Frankie Frisch and his cronies (like Bill Terry) were busy picking old teammates (Wilson and Frisch played together on the New York Giants in the early 1920s) instead of more qualified candidates?

Given the scope of Burns's series, Wilson's mention was all that was needed. Somebody remind me if Lefty O'Doul gets as much mention as Wilson does. At least O'Doul was instrumental in fostering baseball in Japan.
