reply

no, not the rabbai version. the version i'm looking for is not on the soundtrack. the version I'm looking for plays at the beginning of each part of the 10th inning; bottom and top. I think it's performed by a Marsalis brother, but I'm not too sure which one.

reply

oh ok. dunno.

I think the version you are looking for is by Jose Feliciano. It's probably my favorite version I've heard so far.

Jose Feliciano performs "The Star Spangled Banner" toward the beginning of "Top of the Tenth," not "Take Me Out To The Ball Game."

According to the show's end credits, the version the OP is talking about is by Wynton Marsalis & the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (courtesy of Blue Note Records); in "Top of the Tenth" it begins at 4:52 and at 2:57 in "Bottom of the Tenth" - and at various other times during "The Tenth Inning."' I also like that version, but so far I've been unable to find it via Google/Amazon.com searches. If there's an MP3 download, I haven't come across it yet. And as already pointed out, it doesn't appear on the 1994 soundtrack recording. So when I want to hear the song, all I can to is pop in the DVD.
