This film has one of the sweetest scenes i've ever seen....

for some reason one particular scene has stuck with me over all these years.

the sweetest scene ever was when Walter gave frank a shave. He craved the human touch and Walter was able to see that and was there for him. It was just so touching and sweet.

idgeet, I agree completely.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I have frequently told people about that scene, loving the tenderness of it just as you did.

I also have frequently quoted Frank when he was speaking with the girls in the park. He said something like "These hot summer days last forever, but the years just fly by."

I just turned 67. Frank was right.
