Of course there is chicken kung fu, how do you think Wong defeated that centipede? You have to remember this is a documentary film, and everything you see is real. I'm just thankful Wong defeated that evil dude....he was a dangerous man and the world is better off without him.

Allow me to add on.

Yes, there is definitely Chicken style kung fu.

If you might notice, there are many stances of Chinese kung fu which are derived from mimicking the movements of animals.

A list of examples will be the Crane fist, Monkey fist, Dragon Claws, Dragon Palms, Eagle Claws, Tiger Claws, Snake Fist, Mantis Fist, Toad Stance, etc.

Each style of kung fu is unique and has its own strengths and weaknesses.

I am Chinese and I once participated in a Chinese Lion Dance troupe. The troupe I was in won the National Runner Ups in 1991. But sadly the troupe has since disbanded earlier last year.

I still remember the old troupe master saying, even our traditional Chinese lion dance stances are derived from the movements of cats and lions.

All members were taught a set of basic fist style which serves as a foundation for the lion dance movements.

Chinese kung fu has a rich variety and profound history to it.
