Why is this board so freaking dead!

I wanted to talk to someone about this movie damnit!

It's very simple. The movie came and went on television, without re-airings or a proper release on DVD/VHS (I understand it is on VHS, but you know what I mean). The time people, anybody, did want to talk about this film, was before the time of IMDB. If you want to talk to anybody about it, I'd use however you saw this movie, if you've seen it after it's original airing, and share it with someone else you know personally. Wife, husband, friend, or "life partner", I don't care if your gay. That's your business.

I just got the VHS from Amazon. I thought they showed it pretty frequently on LMN and more people would be seeing it. Some of the movies they had that came out prior to 1999 are still shown sometimes and I've been on some of those boards and they are just more active (and they aren't movies that are necessarily more important either). I think this is a fascinating story and Tatum O'Neal is very good in it.

I'm a pretty big Tatum O'Neal fan and I haven't seen it on LMN. Say, do you know the next time it's going to be on?

reply

Oh, I don't have cable right now. I think you can check the LMN website to see when it would air next.

I have never seen this movie on LMN but have seen Calendar Girl Cop Killer? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103913/ on LMN several times.
I remember the movie Calendar Girl...cause of Tobin Bell being in it, I believe as another cop who helps investigate and/or was a friend of the husband who claimed to have checked the husbands gun. The movie had a pretty blonde but cant quite remember who she is that played the lead role. Just thought I would let you know what I remember and put in my two cents.

I like how you found a way to say "I don't care if your gay" in your reply to this person, dude63636363, as if it had anything whatsoever to do with what they were asking or what this board is about. Get your mind off sexuality and sexual preferences. That should not have even been brought up.

LMN never shows this movie. There are many great TV movies like this that LMN never, ever shows. I don't know how they pick which movies are part of their library, and which aren't- I'm sure it must have something to do with which company owns the rights.

Anyway, this movie really needs to be released on dvd!

Lifetime used it show this movie, I think I made a VHS version of it. But they don't show it any more.

Another one is "Murder in Texas" with Sam Elliott, Farah Fawcett, Katherine Ross and Andy Griffith. I'd love to see that again.
