This movie put the 'B' in Bizarre

Brothers with REAL issues can set objects on fire, telepathically; singing firemen; ditzy, pyromaniac wife; carnival workers; lawnmowers and clowns, all mixed up with David Letterman. THIS is one strange, 109 minute ride! See HOW long it takes YOU to reach for either the channel selector, OR
the on/off switch.

I'm the bad guy? How'd that happen?

"Lord of the Rings" it's NOT! "Wilder Napalm" is either an acquired taste, or a mess, depending on your point of view. Let me quote you Leonard Maltin's review: "Bizarre, almost incomprehensible account of brothers {Dennis} Quaid and {Arliss} Howard, who share a rare talent: when concentrating deeply enough, they can make objects burst into flames. {Debra} Winger is cast as
Howard's spirited wife. It's no wonder that this barely watchable film remained unreleased for quite some time." Rated PG-13. Maltin gave it one and a half stars. Yeah, I know, he blew it in regards to "Last of the Dogmen," but he got it just about right with this one. Just goes to show, even Barry Osborne can have a bad day. Nice chatting with you!

"Wilder Napalm" for a buck? GOOD DEAL! Mom and Pop video stores ARE liquidating their businesses; chains are removing VHS tapes from their shelves, and replacing them with DVD's.
If you DON'T have DVD, by now, be prepared to jump onboard the bandwagon. VHS tapes are like those old 8 track tapes we had, back in the 70's. You're TOO YOUNG, but the machines used to eat tapes like Godzilla ate Tokyo! What, YOU'RE going to watch "Wilder Napalm" with JUST a glass of wine? You GOTTA' be kidding! You better bring home a WHOLE bottle, because YOU'RE going to NEED it!!! Seriously, I hope you enjoy the movie. By ALL means, drop me a message, and TELL me what you thought of the movie. Again, NICE chatting with you!

Oh, yeah, I'm an American, living in New Jersey, by the way. Don't hold THAT against me, I know we Yankees' are NOT too popular, up there, in the provinces.

Oh, well, glad YOU "liked it. Me? I wouldn't have given it a second look IF it DIDN'T have Debra Winger in it. IF it WAS only worth a buck to you in VHS, WHY would you possibly want it in DVD?

"Am gaining quite a reputation. I have well over 1,000 VHS movies (collecting them from video stores converting to DVDs). Sometimes I come across one which I think would be fun to have on a movie night."

WOW! HOW come you DON'T invite me? I LOVE the states, I LOVE the provinces. Hey, YOU submit the invitation, and I'll not only provide the chips, I'll provide the chips AND the dip! Movie night, I LIKE that! octsky, I'm relocating to St. Petersburg Beach, Florida, next week, it's been NICE making your acquaintance on these boards. BEST of luck to you, but IF you enjoyed "Wilder Napalm," you're going to need MORE than luck!

Wilder Napalm was funny and very original, don't be afraid of originality. I'd buy the DVD. I didn't see anything wrong with it. Reviewers aren't always right, but I'm sure you have some argument about it and everyone has their opinion and all that, so it's a shame that you missed out on enjoying a good movie. By the way, I assumed by "Bizarre" you meant a compliment.
