The music is wonderful - where can I find the soundtrack?

I "listen" to this film all the time; have been searching for the soundtrack with original music by Stewart Copeland, which I can't seem to find anywhere.

It's incredibly authentic and appropriate for the time, the vision, the landscape with all the creatures of the earth brought into being by the emotional cadence and power of the spirits of love and hate.

Gorgeous. It has the chill factor all over one's body! What an incredible flute to match the power of the wind and the sea.

The music where the French girl starts dancing is SIMILAR but not the same as a piece by Sergio Mendes in album "Brasil Brasilero?) and the song is called Magdaleghna

Nos perituri mortem salutamus nobis semper sit amor.

To nottesigana: THANK YOU for your response. I am listening to samples of Sergio Mendes in the album "Brasil Brasilero" right now on Amazon.com. What beautiful music; I would never have known.

I see that the original music for the film was composed by Stewart Copeland. I wish there was a way to purchase it in mp3 download form now... Thanks again for the "Brasilero" note. CT

By the way: I looked up your Latin phrase, and this is what I found:

List of Latin phrases (full) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Apr 3, 2009 ... The traditional greeting of gladiators prior to battle. morituri is also ... sometimes aided by changing the Latin to nos morituri te salutamus. ...... nunc scio quid sit amor, now I know what love is, From Virgil, Eclogues VIII. ...... What is the exact translation?

An MP3 version of the entire thing does exist. Just go here: http://soundtrackzone.blogspot.com/

It was either originally released on CD, or in MP3 format from the start. Either way, the score is "promotional", and was never meant to be released commercially.

Where that guy gets such albums from is a mystery; he has lots of incredibly rare stuff.

But remember, when looking for rare scores, always check the above link, you just might find what you're looking for!

Thank you avalenkov... I've been waiting a long time to find this beautiful music! But when I go to that blog link, it asks that you "log in" and it takes me back to my own google blog even though I am already logged in to my own blog. I can't seem to actually see anything on HIS blog. What to do?

It sounds like a wonderful site, so I hope you can help (again)...

Update: I did finally log on, but it's in Spanish and even though I speak some Spanish I can't understand much that's there. I found the player with the gorgeous theme music, but is it possible to download the music? I can hear it and there seems to be a download link, but it's not doing anything. Help #2!

Update #2: Yayy, I figured it out! I think it's working and downloading now, using MegaUpload.com:
