I've been searching for this movie
Is this the movie where a bear was chasing them and they all split up into trees? I've been searching forever for this movie and was wondering if this was finally it.

I don't remember that part, but it's funny that you say you've been searching for this movie. I've been searching for it too! I remember watching it with my father when I was little and I swore that it had "Zach" from Saved By the Bell in it. I could remember my dad telling me that he had read, "Hatchet" and that's what the movie was about. I kept looking up, "Hatchet" online and in movie stores, but no one even knew there was a movie based on the book.
Then today, I decided that if Mark Paul Gosselaar was actually in the film, he'd be credited for it. I came across this and now it's for sure it.

A girl is being attacked by a bear and her sister or one of her friends tries to protect her and she gets clawed right in the face.
Another scene I think they kill a warthog or something.

Yep, this is it. I do remember those scenes you just mentioned. I watched it with my sister when I was little and was excited about Zack being in it too. I don't think this is supposed to be based off of Hatchet, I read that in 7th grade it wasn't anything like this movie.
