He could pass so easily as a 10-11 year old, wow talk about baby-faced!
(I love him but I'm just astounded.)

He was probably 17 when this was made. Movies are made almost a year or even more than a year in advance, and with Leo's birthday being late in the year, he probably was 17 during its filming. Nevertheless, I agree, he looked so young in his late teens. In "This Boy's Life," another fantastic film, he was probably 16 when it was filmed, and he looked so much younger in that too. (I think he was playing a 13 year old in the beginning of that film, and they tried to age him a bit as the movie progressed a few years.)

He's was 15 when filming this movie.

His character seriously pissed me off, he seemed more like a 13 year old little *beep*

You do realize the character was autistic & mentally underdeveloped? That was why appeared much younger than he was. Besides his outward behavior, like running off, he had many spastic mannerisms also.

He was 19. Leo was born in '74, movie was made in '93.

No it was released in 93, made in 92. Darlene Cates said like Arnie he turned 18 during filming.

Since his b-day is in November, he was most likely 18 when it was filmed.

- Also, Leo kinda went through puberty pretty late. Hense why he looks only 13 in the movie.
