Seinfeld reference... hillarious!

I just caught the Seinfeld episode that makes reference to WaB's II. (that's right, I shortened it, wanna fight about it?)

Kramer: what you need is some summertime adolescent hijinks... here!
Elaine: weekend at bernies 2

Elaine (later, watching film): Come ON already... He's DEAD, you morons!

reply

Yeah, "The Comeback" (Season 8)
I laughed at that part as well.

Jerry: "Elaine, I payed $200 for this racket, cause he said it's the only one he played with. He could have played just as well with a log!"

reply

I like when she says, "How long is this weekend anyway [looks at the back of the movie box] ... OIY!"

reply

i love when she meets "vincent"

lol

shame on her for bringing a teenager liquor and dirty magazines, lol!

who cares if they referenced it in seinfeld. get over it.

No, I'm not over it. Nope. Never will be. It shapes my life that there was a reference to "Weekend At Bernie's II" on a Seinfeld episode. I think about it every day ...

If you haven't noticed yet I'm being sarcastic. Lighten up, it's a thread on an Internet message board. Does it bother you that much that there's a reference thread on the "Weekend At Bernie's II" board? Get over it yourself.

Things are more moderner than before... San Dimas High School football rules!

What I find interesting is that Elaine's reaction is highly appropriate for the first film, but it hardly fits anything from the second film, which is supposedly what she's watching. I wonder if the Seinfeld writers actually had seen WAB II, or if they were just assuming it was a rehash of the first WAB.

Also funny that Tom Wright (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0942875/?ref_=tt_cl_t6) plays in it.
I thought he looked really familiar, he played Morgan in Seinfeld, George's colleague at the Yankees Stadium.

Here is a blooper with him and Jason http://youtu.be/CPV_LCRPJkI?t=16m50s
