Momma Let Go...the song that doesn't exist?

Has anyone noticed that outside of the movie, the song "Momma Let Go" just doesn't seem to exist. Which is a shame, because it seems to be the "holy grail" in any hypothetical "Weekend at Bernie's" soundtrack. I found a few movie rips, but I gave up hope years ago of ever finding a "studio" recording of the song.

I agree-it is a catchy song. I used to listen to it on youtube when I was Iraq.

I was in St. Thomas last year and asked around about the song… It is not an urban legend and is a real song. It is considered “old school”

I agree that while it may be a 'real' song, I don't think it was ever recorded in a studio.

In the conga line scene, there is a band singing the song live, it appears to me that the guy singing it is the same guy who shouts 'OK everyone lets do da conga line' (or something like that).

That is why I think it is so hard to find outside the movie!

Shame as it really is a catchy song and is very uplifting!

I ripped it from the movie and made a pretty good edit of the song removing all the talking as best as possible. Probably the best there will ever be sadly :(. Leave a message if you want it.
