I have another follow-up idea for this movie

Maybe Captain Neweyes sees kids wishing for oversized animals, and comes up with a new kind of Brain Grain that doesn't only make creatures humanly intelligent and friendly, but makes them grow a lot bigger than normal. He could give some to a rabbit and make it horse-sized or bigger, make a dog know what Clifford feels like, make a cat the same proportions, make a dinosaur-sized lizard, make a raven or other bird big enough for someone to ride on...etc.

Then maybe arrange them as a giant animal exhibit for kids to enjoy.
