Timeline

Watching this on GMC on 11/20/11 and I know, I know ...... other posts have addressed this but like other people there are certain things that are botherning me. I hate how they don't address certain things (even if it is in conversation) ...... How did Virgina die? (She would have been a teenager at the time.) What happen to Charlie? (Ben and Cindy's son) What happened to John Curtis? (He probably would have been in college or possibly just graduated in the spring of 1963.) Were Mary Ellen's other children adopted since she couldn't have children after the car accident during her honeymoon to Jonesy? Of course, there's the ages of the original "Walton Children" ...... they should have been older than potrayed in this tv movie. I realize there was a switch of networks in this film production ...... however, the "new network" should have known there was a big enough fan base that everyone would have picked up on this stuff.
