I live in Britain where it's unavailable, and the prices on amazon.com have gone up to $120. I'm heading out to NY for a few days in March and I need to know where to look to find the Perfect versions. Can anyone help please?
shareI'd just get a telephone book and call all the local comic book stores; I bet there's a bunch in NYC. This set is insanely-hard to find. You might as well download it from torrents - and it's free.

I own the original uncut American release with English subs box set (five tapes) on VHS. I wonder how much that would fetch on ebay?
shareNot much... they're old tapes. You could probably sell dvdrs at the same price if you made colour covers for them.

I live in the Uk and got mine in ebay through a power seller was arould £20 to £25 bucks.
shareI was able to find both movies in NY by fluke. One video store with a very small, very limited anime/martial arts had both of them at $9.95 each. I've now watched both movies once over, and it really does explain much more.
