Funniest/dumbest line in the English dub

I'd never noticed this stupid line as a teenager when I first watched this back in the 90s, but there's a scene where Amano shows Nagumo and Akemi the Jujinkai, or the man-beast world (as if that wasn't enough to convince someone), then explains about the three worlds and reveals that Nagumo is the Chojin. After all that, and earlier being tentacle-raped by a demon, Akemi casaully dismisses it saying "No way, there's no such thing."

It seems very odd that Amano, as a half-beast, would belittle his own race by placing it inferior to humans as he obviously does with this sentence. It's a slip of the writer being human.
