Any way of finding the song 'Blood From a Stone'????

I'm pretty sure that the song I've loved all my childhood is "Blood From a Stone" by "Stacy Earl". Any information would be more than really really appreciated. Like was it ever released as a single on vinyl or CD because I'm pretty sure unless it was renamed that it is not on Stacy Earl's cd.

I remember buying it as a cassette single (remember those?) shortly after the movie came out. I may still have it somewhere. Other than that, no idea where else you might find it.

NO WAY???? I knew it had to exist somewhere because I heard it on the radio around 4 years ago. I can't begin to describe how amazing this song is, I'm really happy to hear that Stacy Earl has had more songs released other than from the ones on her cd. Anyways would you have any information to give me on the cassette, like who it was released by, what year, and the title maybe? Anything would be greatly appreciated and would bring me one step closer to finding this song.

Here's what I remember: I bought it a little after the movie came out (so 1993). It was a cassette single. I believe the cover had the original Untamed Heart artwork and the title was simply: Blood from a Stone / Stacy Earl. Blood from a Stone was one one side of the cassette. I don't remember what was on the other.

I found the cassette. I'd be happy to send it to you if you want.

the force is strong in this one

Nope, that's DNA featuring Suzanne Vega "Tom's Diner". Suzanne Vega did the original folk version, the version in Untamed Heart is the DNA version.

Tom's Diner was written about the same diner is featured in most Seinfeld Episodes.

I lost the cassette single years ago, but I recently was able to find a radio promtional copy of the song on CD on eBay. No artwork or anything included... and it doesn't have the B-side song that was on the cassette (not featured in the movie, but a great song) called "The World is Not a Stranger".

cool! I've been looking for that song too. I'll have to check e-bay too, maybe somebody else has a copy and is willing to sell it to me.
