I just saw "Untamed Heart" today for the first time, and I am so glad I finally discovered this movie. With all due respect to Christian Slater and Rosie Perez, who are excellent actors, Marisa Tomei's performance is one of the most compelling and passionate I've ever seen on screen. She is so sexy, so vulnerable, so loving, and so attractive in this role you cannot help falling in love with her. She has this innate way of playing characters with the sexiest mannerisms I've ever seen, but they're so subtle and erotic, they just carry you away.

Everything about her performance is authentic and down to earth, and this movie is totally carried by the story and the way the actors present it, no special effects, or weird premises, just great storytelling with heart and passion. Just like "My Cousin Vinny, Marisa steals the show from some very talented actors. I heard this movie got great critical acclaim, but Marisa's performance should have been nominated for a SAG, or Golden Globe, or Oscar.

I just saw the movie for the first time today also. I was surfing the channels and just happened by it starting, not lanning on watching the whole thing but got sucked in. Great movie - much better love story that many of the blockbusters claim to be now. Christian Slater and Marisa Tomei were supurb and very believable. I rarely cry at movies and yet this got me going, especially at the end, during the funeral when his dog turned around to look back at the casket. Priceless!

Caroline (not Marisa) is my Dream Woman- fantastic character,sexy,beautiful, natural,and so loving, but she ist just in Film, --not real , not real. I Have falling in love... Good performance of Beautiful Marisa Tomei, but not Oscar

Caroline is adorable in the most genuine sense of the word. And Marisa is a truly superb actress - one of the best of all time, in my opinion. In this movie she gives a transcendant performance, at least as good as any she has ever done.

My roommate lent me this movie the other day, so that's yet another Marisa movie I've enjoyed.

The part I found difficult to watch was when Caroline got jumped by those punks in the park.

I couldn't look.

I was like, "Noooo! Not Marisa Tomei! Leave her alone!!!!" I just couldn't look.

Marisa deserved a second Oscar for her performance here. They should have skipped the nominations and just handed her the award.
