Jeff and Jane and Nick and Nora

The first time I saw this movie a little bell went off, something I couldn't quite put my finger on. I loved the chemestry between Jeff and Jane and then it finally hit me... they are so close to Nick and Nora Charles (from The Thin Man Series) it's freaky. I never thought I'd see any of todays actors with that spark but Dennis Quaid and Kathleen Turner have it. If you haven't ever seen The Thin Man movies and loved this one, you should really check them out. They are on TCM fairly often.

What are the actual names so I can look out for it? Or is it just "The Thin Man Movie"

The first movie is "The Thin Man," based on a novel by Dashiel Hamett. The rest of them all have the thin man somewhere in the title. (Return of the Thin Man, etc.)

I'm glad someone else besides me picked up on this. Quaid and Turner were really carrying the Powell-Loy dynamic superbly. I was disappointed there weren't a few more films with the Blues.
