What is your favorite quote or scene from the movie

There are really too many good ones to pick one favorite but I love this scene:
Jane "kill the light."
Jeff karate chops the lamp and knocks it off the table.
Jane "I meant, turn it off."

Also when Jeff finally calls him "Muerte" and he starts saying "My name is Morty."

Of course the fight with Jane holding the shopping bags is a classic.

Best line: Jeff and Morty at the zoo

Jeff: Can I get you anything? Coffee, tea?
Morty: Coffee, tea? No, no, just get me the "hell" out of here! (Edited version)

~Do that which makes you come alive!

(when told to freeze!)

Why? Is there a bee on me?

My favorite is...

Blue: "Look we had a deal...you committ a felony and I go"

or multiple times...

Blue: "Morty, can I get you anything...coffee? tea?"

the ultimate scene in movie history...

When Jane and Jefferson catch up to the cop who has fallen in front of them:

JEFF- How badly are you hurt?!
COP- it's ok, i just smashed my knee against the step!

good job man.

reply

Novacek: You haven't changed... Have I?
Jeff: Only your men.

The all-time greatest moment in the movie for me was when Jane faked a seizure to escape at the zoo! Omg, I cannot stop laughing for at least 20 minutes every time I see that!!!

reply

"Your husband plays the saxophone?"

"Apparently."

When Muerte finally gets the gun off the unconscious henchman (after shooting himself in the foot) and he's hopping up the stairs. Lands on the broken stair fine, then the next one breaks and he falls making his high pitched scream.

The whole movie was a riot.

So did anyone else catch the nod to "His Girl Friday?"(1940, Cary Grant,Rosalind Russell). When Jeff introduces himself as Hildy Johnson, from the Chicago Harold. That was the name of Rosalind Russell's character.

Also Pat O'Brien's character in the 1931 version of The Front Page and Jack Lemmon's character in the 1974 version of The Front Page, plus 2 or 3 TV movie versions.

Also worth noting, because of the connection back to Undercover Blues, that Switching Channels in 1988 was also another remake of "The Front Page", but they changed all of the character names. Kathleen Turner played the character that was Hildy Johnson under a different name.

I've seen 3 of the 4 movie version. I still haven't gotten around to seeing the 1931 version.

Jane "You took our baby into a knife fight?"
Jeff "It was a fair fight, two of them to two of us."
