Most underrated movie ever?

i'm not sure if it's the most under-rated movie ever but i'm sure by now it's all but forgotten. fred ward and suzie amis were very good, the cinematography great, and the soundtrack eerily fantastic. i saw it when it came out, prob'ly fourteen years ago, and still remember it. i remember, though, that the friend i went with was not equally impressed. definitely not a film i would recommend to everyone.
